Accreditation

Activities are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Requirements to Earn Continuing Education Credit

Individuals completing knowledge-type home studies must complete an online evaluation and posttest with a passing score of 70 percent or greater. Posttests will not be graded automatically. Posttest questions are not applicable to application-type activities; however, an evaluation must be completed. Upon successful completion of the posttest and/or evaluation, participants will receive pharmacy continuing education credit through CPE Monitor, a national, collaborative effort by ACPE and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to track their completed CPE credits. MPA, as an ACPE-accredited provider, is required to report pharmacist and pharmacy technician CPE credit using this tracking system. Pharmacist and pharmacy technician participants must provide their NABP e-Profile identification number and date of birth (in MMDD format) when they complete activity evaluations. It will be the responsibility of the participant to provide the correct information. If this information is not correctly provided, NABP and ACPE prohibit MPA from issuing CPE credit. Online access to their inventory of completed credits will allow pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to easily monitor their compliance with CPE requirements and print statements of credit. Therefore, MPA will not provide printed statements of credit to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Partial credit will not be awarded. Please allow 60 days for processing. A failed test may be retaken only once. If you have yet to sign up for CPE Monitor, got to MyCPEMonitor.net.

Policy on Privacy and Confidentiality

Information received by Missouri Pharmacy Association (MPA) for continuing education (CE) programs will be maintained in a confidential and secure manner. If a person completes a CE program on the MPA website, the association will collect personal information, such as name, address, phone number, e-mail address and credit card information (if applicable for payment processing; credit card numbers are not kept on file). In appropriate circumstances, and upon request, MPA may release personal information concerning a candidate to government regulatory agencies, including the Missouri Board of Pharmacy, or as otherwise authorized by law or MPA policies.
